Your divorce is final, but it’s not the end. In fact it’s a new beginning. You have experienced tragedy and it seems like it’s unbearable at times. The real tragedy is after divorce some people choose to hurt themselves more then the divorce itself. Others choose to live life to its fullest. A new beginning will revitalize your life.

First, Make changes. Change the way you drive to work, change the times you do things, change your words. Change sends a message to the deepest part of you that, change is good. Change keeps the healing process flowing. Make slight changes, and you will feel like things are new, fresh. It doesn’t have to be radical changes. Subtle changes send the message that you are experiencing a new beginning.
Second, Create a positive environment. Are the shades drawn, no light coming in? How does your house feel. How about a new color paint, rearrange the furniture? How about fresh flowers on the table? What makes you feel good? It’s ok to feel good. You don’t have to feel guilty about feeling good. When you feel good about yourself you are in a position to help others.
Third, Time to step out. Time to get acquainted with a whole new world. No, not everyone knows about the big D. You have a lot to offer the world, you have a purpose, now is the time to start letting your light shine. Get out and do some activities that will cause you to feel new again. Begin something you have always wanted to do. Bring your dreams to the front burner and hear them sizzle again.
Fourth, Begin each day fresh. Each day is a gift. Decide that each day is new, and filled with amazing opportunities that will heal and bless your life. Stay away from people, thoughts, attitudes, conversations that drag you down. Stay above that, be thankful for the day you are living. At the end of the day when you look back you will sleep like a baby.
